Products developed by ADA Assessment Solutions Limited are based on the outcomes of research projects
During the 1990's a number of research projects were completed for the UK central government departments and other organisations. This research, and more recent product development work with partners has revealed that the management practice of all leading edge and improving organisations is exactly the same across sectors of the economy.
Key projects that are related to the product development have been:
UK Government - Department for Education and Employment, Investors in People UK and Training and Enterprise Council
- Research with employers to identify the benefits of being an Investor in People. Over 200 published case studies to promote Investors in People.
- Research to establish links between individual commitment to learning, Investors in People and business performance. This work underpinned, in part, the thrust to improve learning and management practice in the UK.
- Research to identify the strategic value of Investors in People to large organisations which has supported the drive to ensure that all major organisations achieve the Investors in People Standard.
UK Government - Cabinet Office
- Research of practice at HM Customs and Excise Glasgow to produce the case study booklet 'Becoming an Investor in People'. Copies of this booklet were distributed across UK Government Departments and Agencies. This research supported the UK Government's project that required every UK Government Department and Agency to achieve the Investors in People Standard by the end of 1999.
The development of Investors in People and the EFQM Excellence Model has been facilitated in many organisations. In 1996 Alusuisse Lawson Mardon at Sutton in Ashfield, a businesss client, were a UK Quality Award finalist, the first finalist with under 200 employees.
