You may wish to have a print copy of any i-Pulse screen, particularly the overall score screen or the % score screen. i-Pulse has a feature to enable you to print or save an image of any screen, or part of a screen.

To access this feature click the camera icon in the bottom right hand corner of most screens. This will access a menu which enables you to print the screen, save the screen as an image of your choice or open the cropping tool.

The cropping tool has a chequered corner which should be dragged to the top left corner of the image required. Then right to fix and show the chequered corner for the bottom right hand corner. Use the menu at the top of the tool to choose the destination of the image selected.

A range of report documents can also be compiled using the 'Print' feature on the menu bar.

Having opened the 'Print' feature click 'Reports' for the list of all the existing reports, including illustration reports. We suggest opening the following illustrative reports for examples of the reports that can be produced:

  1. Illustration Management Indicators and Targets.doc
  2. Illustration Management Assessment.doc
  3. Illustration Action Plan MD.doc
  4. Illustration Comparison Report.doc

The print screen will show the dates of events that are held on file. It is possible to compile observation reports for the last event or any other selected event for any of the above reports.

When reviewing the management indicators for templates or after establishing your template it may be helpful to compile and print out a hard copy report of the indicators.

With the template open for the management indicators under consideration go to Print on the menu bar and select Management Indicators and Targets, then click Compile.

You will be asked to save the report in the Report Documents folder under an appropriate file name in .htm format. Enter the file name and click Save. After compilation the report will automatically open, as a .htm document, in MS Word. Go to File and Print to print out in the normal way.

The report lists the management indicators and and the text describing the targets.

The results of self assessment, including improvement notes, can be compiled into a management assessment report which can be printed out.

To compile a management assessment report go to Print on the menu bar and select Management Assessment Report. You can select the date of any performance report and you can choose between having the indicators printed out in their listed order, or in order of performance. Having made the delection you require click Compile.

You will be asked to save the report in the Report Documents folder under an appropriate file name in .htm format. Enter the file name and click Save. After compilation the report will automatically open, as a .htm document, in MS Word. Go to File and Print to print out in the normal way.

The report details all the organisation information (for external use purposes), the score for each management indicator and all improvement notes.

The Action Plan Report is usually compiled by clicking Compile on the action plan screen.

Alternaively it can be produced by going to Print on the menu bar and selecting Action Plan Report. Make the action plan selection in the same way as on the action plan screen and click Compile.

You will be asked to save the report in the Report Documents folder under an appropriate file name in .htm format. Enter the file name and click Save. After compilation the report will automatically open, as a .htm document, in MS Word. Go to File and Print to print out in the normal way.

The report details the action points, responsibility, any progress information and relevant dates.

Larger organisations or franchisors who are using i-Pulse with their business units will wish to compare practice.

A comparison file can be created by using the Compare feature on the menu bar. A comparison report for a comparison file can be created by clicking Create Comparison Report on the Compare menu .

You will be asked to save the report in the Report Documents folder under an appropriate file name in .htm format. Enter the file name and click Save. After compilation the report will automatically open, as a .htm document, in MS Excel. Use the Print feature in MS Excel to print out in the normal way.
